Berkeley Castle is a beautiful and historic castle overlooking the river Severn and still remains the home of the Berkeley family.  The State Apartments contain magnificent collections of furniture, rare paintings and tapestries.  It is surrounded by lovely terraced gardens and sweeping lawns.
